Nobody knows this better than Sharon Ostler. Sharon enjoyed a successful career for many years as the broker/owner of a boutique real estate firm specializing in luxury properties on Lake Keowee in upstate South Carolina. In 2011, love and marriage lured her away from the area she loved when she moved to Charlotte, NC to begin a new chapter in her life. While she left real estate behind in the transition to a new city, she never lost her desire to find that special something that would open the door once again to selling property in the Carolinas. After ten years of expectantly waiting, the timing suddenly seemed right to begin rekindling the passion, and a return to upstate South Carolina in 2023 was an added blessing. The rest is history.
A “lifestyle” realtor, Sharon loves to sell properties that resonate with how people want to live – not just the house they want to buy. For her, home is not just a place; it’s a feeling. The suburbs of Greenville offer so many options when it comes to small towns, quaint cities and active lifestyle communities; all of them have their own allure while remaining in close proximity to all that the Carolinas have to offer.
Sharon’s effervescence lends a decided charm to the house-hunting process and her keen business savvy – gleaned during her career as a corporate executive and entrepreneur – brings competent efficiency to negotiations and contractual proceedings. Living and working on the outskirts of a big city is a dream come true for this Virginia girl, who spent many a childhood hour fishing – or sometimes simply daydreaming – at her family’s pond. Being close to water and nature are top priorities when it comes to finding a place for her to call home because of the peace and serenity that comes along with them. Today, it’s the peace and serenity of the mountains, state parks, and area creeks and lakes that she enjoys passing along to her clients.
